Welcome Anglers!
The Lake of the Woods Women’s Walleye Tournament is the largest all female Walleye tournament in Canada!
We proudly use a Catch-Record-Release tournament format to improve the quality of life for the fish that are caught as they are immediately released back into the same spot where they were caught.
The Lake of the Woods Women’s Walleye Tournament is a one-day tournament that uses the eTournament App, which anglers use to photograph their fish, and enter the length and release into the water.
All anglers must download the eTournament App in order to register and fish in the tournament.

“We love the women’s walleye tournament. The 2024 tournament will be my aunt in her 70s, my husbands and I’s 3rd one together. It is so well organized and a bunch of firsts for us. Our first fishing tournament together (and ever) and my aunts first time peeing off a boat. Thanks to all the organizers! We look forward to this day every year!”
